Frequently Asked Questions

The mountains are right there to see. Do I really need a Grand Teton tour?

The Tetons are incredible and definitely not hard to see.  No question there.  But the mountains are just one aspect of this park. Everyone can see the mountains driving by. Without a tour, you will miss how tightly the history is intertwined with the land. There are homesteads and wildlife spots in the park that cannot be found without a guide. On a long Yellowstone day, you don’t have a lot of time to stop and experience the Tetons. Taking a Teton tour means that you don’t miss the chance to get to know Yellowstone’s sister park-a land so rich that Rockefeller himself realized that it should be protected too.

Does the Grand Teton tour have to start at 7am?

Grand Teton National Park is right next to Jackson, so start times in the morning can be more flexible.  We still think the morning light in the Tetons is the best of the day, but it’s a private tour.  You tell us when we start.

Will we see wildlife?

While wildlife is never guaranteed…yes, yes, and YES. Grand Teton National Park’s wildlife is amazing. With our binoculars, spotting scopes, and expert naturalist guides, we will bring the wildlife to you. Grand Teton’s wildlife is not only abundant-they just also happen to be hanging out with some spectacular mountains in the background.
