Yellowstone Lower Loop Tour Overview

Embark on an unforgettable 12-hour adventure exploring Yellowstone’s lower loop with a private guide. Witness the sunrise over the majestic Teton mountains, marvel at the bubbling mud pots, steam vents, and waterfalls, and feel the mist and hear the roar of Old Faithful’s eruption up close. And don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for sightings of Yellowstone’s iconic wildlife as you journey through the park.

Custom Itinerary

Your input ensures your guide designs the day according to your interests.  You go to your family’s pace-whether you want to linger with that moose or move along to find the next amazing sight.

Private & Exclusive

A tour for just your friends and family ensures a memorable day for you alone.  You won’t be stuffed in a vehicle with strangers or have to smile when they show you photos of their cat.

Spacious Sightseeing Van

Our raised-roof sightseeing vans are all windows.  That means that everyone has the best seat to view the mountains as you travel through Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park.

Running Water Restrooms

This being a remote national park, the facilities are mainly outhouses. We know where all of the 5-star restrooms are in Yellowstone so that you can stay away from the outhouses.  Need a place to wash your hands?  We’ve got you covered.

Food for the Day

Hot breakfast, a gourmet picnic lunch, snacks, and bottled water take care of your needs throughout your day with us.  This is one day when you don’t have to worry about keeping everybody fed.

Family Photos

You’ll go home with the best photos of your vacation.  Your guide will capture the whole family and share the photos so that you can have your Christmas card shot.

Professional Optics

Thousands of dollars of optical equipment at your disposal allow you to bring the wildlife up close and personal no matter how far away it is.

Frequently Asked Questions

12 hours is a long day. Will I be sitting in the van the whole time?

These are active sightseeing tours.  Although we have a lot of ground to cover, we also get out and explore many boardwalks and short hikes.  On an average day, we walk between 3-5 miles.  You will hit your 10,000 steps.  🙂

What should we do for dinner after our tour?

  • We recommend reservations for any night you are eating out in Jackson.
  • On your tour dates, takeout is recommended. You can make late restaurant reservations. Returning by 7:00 p.m is our goal on an all-day tour. If the bison or bears don’t comply, it may be later.

Will my kids get bored?

No. Kids are always super engaged on this journey. They love playing with the binoculars and spotting scopes.  We are always walking around, checking out new sites. We also partner with the National Park Service to offer Jr. Ranger activity books to all kids.  They love completing the tasks and earning their Jr. Ranger certification at the end of the tour.  We also have a few other tricks up our sleeves that the kids love.

How should I dress?

Check out the weather and wear appropriate layers depending on the weather.  These could include anything from a light rain jacket, fleece, or long-sleeve shirt.  Staples also include a hat and good walking shoes.
